Steve Zee | Dodger Stadium America's Pastime

Steve Zee, LA tap dancer, political comedian and most rhythmic of candidates for president 2012, takes a much needed break from the pressures of the campaign trail to enjoy America’s pastime – baseball!

Steve was at Dodger Stadium today to celebrate Jackie Robinson Day, take off his suit and tie and simply enjoy an afternoon at the ballpark.

Steve, never fully able to divorce himself from the campaign, found that there is really no better way to understand his constituents than by performing the wave with them, singing two choruses of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” en masse and standing shoulder to shoulder in the men’s bathroom, relieving himself and making small talk.

Steve has long felt that baseball is the ideal metaphor for American life:  there are long boring stretches before the brief exciting moments, some people are completely in left field, sometimes those who steal don’t get in trouble, you have to spend way too much money and sunscreen is always a good idea.
